Cycling question for my 20g tank?

Ok ive Been cycling my tank for over a month with fish now and today the ammonia dropped to zero. The nitrite, however, is at like 5ppm. My question to you is, should I do a water change or ride it out because I hear the less water changes the better? I have 1 fish and it's hardy as heck considering how I havnt changed the water in like 3 weeks. Will it stall the cycling process or should I just wait till it drops to 0ppm?

Is It Too Late to Change Career Path to Become A Doctor?

I'm 22 and I'm currently finishing my last semester at college that will give me a BA in psychology. Right now I feel like I'm at a crossroad. I love psychology, but I don't know if I would be happy continuing on to graduate school in that area. I feel that I have always been interested in becoming a doctor. I wanted to be a doctor as a kid, but never felt that I was good enough. I have always had a strong interest in health. Even in psychology, I was drawn to the health aspects such as occupational health psychology and health psychology. These thoughts have been raging in my head for quite some time. I know if I change now, it will be a lot of work ahead, but I feel that I can take it, and what I learned in psychology can be carried over to medical school. Any thoughts on how I should proceed? I feel like staying at my university for a bit longer and adding a minor in biology, or can prerequisites be done at a community college? Any help and suggestions will help me out a lot.

Why Are Shar-peis So Mean?

I have a lilac chinese shar-pei. She is the sweetest thing to be around when it comes to people. A little energetic, but real sweet. It's a different story when she's around other dogs. I am going to be a senior this fall and while I've been looking into colleges for a while, I guess I never considered playing sports. I've been playing soccer for a really long time but I focus more on my academics and all so I usually just play D2 club, so nothing extremely stressful. While I don't have experience playing on a D1 team or a high-level school team (my high school is too small to play competitively) I am a pretty strong player. I know I could be playing club at the super2 level and be doing fine and I could maybe fit in as a weak D1 player, does that mean I could play college soccer? And if so, at what level? I workout everyday ( cardio) for about 14 minutes, i only have pizza about once a week aside from that pretty balanced. I eat salads ( lettuce and cubers) and dont put any toppings on the pizza except mushrooms. and then have yogurt and sometimes 2 slices of white bed as a snack. I rarely ever eat pizza, and usually burn 200 calories( says the calorie counter..) if i keep this diet will i get skinnier? ( remember i only eat pizza once a week) is this ok?

Whats going through this girl's mind?

soo i met this girl at a club, we had fun playing around and light touching each other from chit chats and games. everything went well i got her phone number and such and then suddenly she was switching clubs and asked if i wanted to join her. Obviously i had to stay back cause all of my friends were at the current club so i kindly declined her offer but she told me that she might be back and if so she'll give me a call. so another 15 mins or so went by and i initiated a conversation with a new girl (#2), the usual thing we chit chatted had a acouple of drinks and went out to dance. I got a call from girl #1 but maybe it was too loud or something so we couldnt hear each other so i thought she mispressed my # on her phone by accident. 30 mins went by me and girl #2 were still dancing and then i realized that girl #1 came back to the club with her friend and she spotted me. So i brought girl #2 to the bar to for a drink while i go back and talk with girl #1 to see whats up. initially she was kind of moody and just gave up straight up answers. afterwards i went back to my table and an actual friend of ours were being 'bothered' by this guy from the club so i had to pretend to be her bf. Girl #1 came back and sat near my table and saw that i am with this other girl so she kept looking over and stuff. moment later i tried to approach her but she kinda ignored me for the whole night and went macking with other dudes but she still occasionally look over my direction. After i said goodbye to girl #2 i left the club and sent a message to girl #1 hey i am heading outing it was nice meeting you hope to see you again, get home safe etc etc. so after like 12 hrs she still havn't replied my txt. i just wanna know whats going through her mind? i just wanna be friends with her...what should i do!!!

Someone I know (not me, I'm daft but not THIS stupid) was on tramadol for headaches. Took the last one midnight Thursday then got utterly drunk friday night. She's now got pain and pins and needles in her left arm. Could it be because of her less than sensible antics recently? Or could it just be that the bad headaches are migraines? Ex wife revoking visitation due to being stationed in Germany for 3 years?

My husband found out in January that he was going to be stationed in Germany. Our first worries were that his 2 young sons (5 & 6 years old) were going to be robbed of their time with daddy. We informed his ex wife (whom he has joint custody with) of our next duty station being in Germany. At first she was okay with us taking them Germany for the summer, considering they both agreed to the father having them for that duration. We do not have proof of her being okay with this trip at one point, and last week she blatantly informed my husband during his phone call with his boys that he was not going to take them to Germany. This of course upset the kids. He went active duty March 17th, 2010, while they were still married. They did not file for divorce til that following May. (he was in the National Guard prior to going active duty, and was deployed once before (not to be confused with stationed considering this was an non-accompanying tour in 2002 when they first got married) It is common fact that a member of the military could be stationed overseas. When they did file for divorce last year, he was already stationed out of state going through training, so she knew that our chances of being stationed back in KY (where the children and their mother reside) was a slim one. She has already mentioned once in a previous email before we even found out that we were going to Germany that she was having second thoughts on us getting the kids for the summer. She threatened that she would file a motion that would restrict his summer visitation rights that were already in order. Due to the fact that we are going to have to pay for the father plane ticket, along with the kids plane ticket, we can not afford attorney fees to address this issue before it is too late. We can not take the children out of the country without notarized permission from the mother. So now that she has denied us to take the kids overseas, we have no choice but to pursue this in court. I wanna know if we have a case against her to get it to where my husband can have his kids, or are we going to waste or money and get denied by the courts as well. The custody agreement has no specific details on anything pertaining to military, or duty stations. It merely states that he will have the kids 1 week after school is out in the summer til the 2 weeks before school is back in session. We need advice ASAP!!!! Please help us in the right direction, and give us some pointers on what we should do, or maybe how we should approach her so that we can resolve this as adults, without having to waste anymore time or money in the courts.

Favorite Dog Toys.......?

My question before was a little too specific. I am looking for a couple new toys for my dog who is leaving puppyhood. The first toy that I ever bought him was the Kong Wubba. It is the soft one that looks like an octopus. He loved it but it fell apart about 2 weeks ago. I replaced it the other day and he had it torn apart within a day because now he has adult teeth. Anyways....I am looking for both a soft toy--that doesnt have any kind of stuffing and a chewing toy. I have thought about the Kong but am not thrilled about the filling it with 'stuff'. When our first little girl was born we called her Lexi-Mai, not after anyone but just because we thought it was a pretty name. Then when we found out I was pregnant again people asked if we were going to call our second a double barreled name and we decided we only would if she was a girl and she was so we called her Emilie-Rose. 3 days late 5 positives 3 negative help please ?

ok my last period was the 9th of november i was due my period 7th dec im almost 3 days late now ive teo boys i would like a girl but anyway i did 5 preg tests they wer positive and i did a digital that said positive and according to that id be 5 weeks well a while later i did another just wanted the last positive result to sinl in so did it again to make sure yes even after 5 positives . Well next day i tested 3 times all 3 was negative now ive been testing everyday this week and still negative even today was negative but im not stressing but im almost 3 days late my last months pwriod was light with brown discharge the only symptoms i have now is sleeping alot and peeing every 40 minutes and pains in both my sides i want to have a baby this be my 3rd and last kid as im 2y and would like to have my kids over and done with early .my question is could i still be pregnant ???? Lorex VistaPro Server 5.0 Application?

This is the software I'm using on a PC computer to run DVR card. My problem is that I have lost the software's installation CD. I am locked out of access to the files being recorded because amazing enough, I have to have a stupid pword in order to access my own freaking recordings. Is there a way to byp or recover the pword? If not, is there a place online to download the software and reinstall it? (I checked the manufacture's website but I didn't have any luck). While my cameras are still recording, I don't have anyway of getting any of the recording to playback, since the video files being compiled are NOT in Windows Media format!!!! HELP! My hatchling Sulcata (African Spur-Thighed) toroise is suffering from MBD!!! (calcium deficiency)?

Suds, by itty bitty hatchling sulcata has recently decided to scare me half to death by aquiring Metabolic Bone Disease. I know how to fight it; lots of sunshine for Vitamin D, and lots of calcium. But the trouble is, he doesn't have the appetite of a typical hatchling, so he doesn't eat much of the calcium-powdered foods I offer. I've tried giving him bright, good-smelling, and tasty food with doses of calcium powder, like so many breeders and books suggest, but even those don't entice him. He's obviously eating when I'm not around (I'm at school most of the time), because he's not wasting away... but he's also obviously not getting enough calcium! It's really worrying me, and I'd be grateful for any helpful suggestions any fellow tortoise keeper would mind sharing...

How can I fix an excessive ripple in my charging system?

i have a 1990 mercury sable v-6 3.0. my charging system light came on today so I went to advance auto to have it tested. The battery and starter are fine. unfortunately when the alternator was tested there was an excessive drop when it was loaded from unloaded. It has an external regulator. I have a coffee problem!!!!!!!!?

ok, so i'm 15 and i normally don't drink coffee. I've only had coffee drinks like 7 times. I do drink soda with caffeine in it. So this morning, I woke up super early cause i couldn't sleep and i still had to go to school so i asked my mom to take me to starbucks to get a coffee so i could wake up. So i ordered a tall mocha frappucino and drank it all. it did help me wake up but the whole day i felt kinda off. like when i tried to talk, words came out slightly slower than usual and i just didn't feel right. i didn't feel bad or jittery, just not normal. and then like and hour after drinking the coffee i had to pee super badly. like so badly it was hurting my bladder and when i did pee it came out really fast and a lot. so as the day went on, i went pee like that about 6 more times and ea. time it felt the same and it was like suddenly i had to pee badly, not like oh, now i kinda have to pee and then fifteen min later like ok, now i really have to pee. it came suddenly. then later in the day i started to get a small stomach ache like in my lower stomach. maybe my bladder. the ache went away after like 30 min. and i've felt bloated ever since the stomach ache. this has never happened before! its super wierd! its not like i never drink caffeine. and i did have breakfast before having the coffee. help!!!

Is this a good computer?

Mate, its not worth it. A dual-core at 2.8ghz is not going to last much longer, they'll soon be obsolete. Also 800mhz RAM is slow though that could be worse. The HDD is fine, but the integrated graphics suck. For just a little more (600-700+) you can get much better stuff. I wouldn't recommend it.

How can I stop my hamsters from fighting? :(?

We got my son his first pet. Its a female teddybear hamster. After having her for a few months we decided that she may be lonely since she was used to having a few friends in the cage when she was in the pet store. We got another hamster for her. The new hamster is slightly younger than her, smaller, and almost identical in appearance. They are total opposites. The first hamster is relaxed, friendly, and calm. The second one we just added is very wired, energetic and all over the place. As of recently they have started fighting and beleive it or not the smaller one is the instigator all the time. The original hamster only retaliates when neccesarry. At this point the smaller one bit Miffy(the big one) so bad, she has a huge scab on her belly and on her sides and she is limping. The smaller hamster practically has no damage just a really small scab and its almost healed already. We have put a divider in the cage as a temporary solution but we just want them to get along. Any ideas?

Having our 3rd baby while husband is deployed and no family to help out - advice help please!?

Hey there. Just need some insightful tips from families who've "been there". We're going to be having our third (and last) baby this spring and we have a 4 year old and a 2 year old besides and no family to help out. Not only that but I just found out that the baby will have to be delivered via c-section and I will have to have a hysterectomy at the same time (because of placenta previa and endometriosis) and I won't have anyone to be with me at the hospital or help me out with my 4 year old, 2 year old and newborn while I'm recovering either. I am so scared and worried and I feel completely helpless right now. Anyone been in the same boat when you had other children and no one to help if so can you give any advice or anything - I am really worried about this and not sure how I'm going to deal with all of it! lol! yikes! How high does your blood sugar need to be to get symptoms?

I was recently diagnosed with pre diabetes because I went to the doctor having all the main symptoms of diabetes. I had lost a lot of weight in just a short amount of time without trying. I was hungry all the time, but my stomach hurt. I was SO thirsty and I had to pee pretty much every 20 minutes. My doctor did the fasting glucose test and the A1C and said that my levels were close, but not quite diabetic yet. She also said that since my dad is diabetic and he has a meter that I should test periodically and if I start seeing numbers consistantly over 120 that I need to be retested. The reason I'm asking about symptoms is because someone I was talking to told me that unless your blood sugar is like 400 or higher you won't have any of the symptoms I had. I haven't tested very much, but I have a few times when I started to get the familiar symptoms and my blood sugar was pretty much always over 120. 2 of the times it was 150 5 hours after eating, but the next morning I checked and it had gone back down. So I was wondering if this friend was right or not? Does you blood sugar have to be REALLY high to have symptoms or does even just a little over 120 give some people them? Also, because it's been high so often I find that I feel sicker when it drops back down again, even though I know it needs to be lower. Is there any way to fix that? I already eat really healthy, and I've cut out basically all sweets except on rare special occasions (like Christmas! Haha) Even when I do have them though it's just in small portions. I'm an average weight, and I've started exercising more so that my body would need the carbs and sugar instead of having too much. Is there something else I need to be doing along with that? Your body is amazing right now, it protects the baby so well! I always think about mother\s' that have been basically killed in terrible car accidents, but the baby is fine. So laying in a different position during the night isn't going to put your baby at any risk! If you're most comfortable on your back, then sleep that way, your baby will be ok. You can even ask your doctor about that just to comfirm.

Are you traveling with the dog? because if so you can travel with up to a 20lb dog (airline varies) in carry-on. You can just bring her on in one of those mesh dog kennels. If it is too hot or too cold the plane will NOT take her i have flown tons of dogs on the plane and have not run into an issue YET (knock on wood). I think you might need to see a counselor and talk about your feelings, Ann. Abandonment issues are tough. We seek relief from relationships, but when they fail us or turn out to be less than perfect, they only get worse. You can recover, but my feeling is that you have deeper issues that go beyond just your past boyfriends, maybe a void deep down inside that someone left inside of you a long time ago. You'll be okay but you have to remember to open up and be honest to your counselor.

I don't believe the issue is how much Ferrari was able to prove but what proof was required by the governing body making the judgment. There was absolute proof that McLaren employee(s) had possession of stolen Ferrari technical doents. McLaren claimed to not have USED the doents and that was the standard used for guilt. The problem is that without McLaren releasing all of their technical information and an outside party completely dissembling their cars and reviewing every part of the car there is no way to prove whether they used Ferrari's information or not. How was Ferrari supposed to prove they did use the doents? It was simply McLaren stating they didn't, which doesn't add up to any proof at all. If you are caught with a stolen car and you tell the police you didn't drive the car are they going to let you off the hook? It is to bad this happened and sanctions against McLaren would be bad for the McLaren drivers and put a black mark on the season but it seems to me the only fair thing to do, they need to have better control over there employees and a company should be held responsible for the acts of there employees.

Broke tensioner pulley when replacing drivebelts! subaru, help!?

Well i've never been extremely knowledgable when working with engines so im having a hard time figuring out what it is i broke. First of all, the car is a POS, i was replacing the drive belts and the one that is connected to the altenater went on good. but the other belt was looser than it should be, bending more than an inch, so i tried tightening the tensioner and the part where the tensioner threads into the smallest wheel busted. what is this piece calls and can i find it without going to a mechanic? I dont really have an arm and a leg to spare. there are 3 wheels that the belt goes on the smallest wheel that is lower is the one that broke, the wheel is fin, just the little metal piece that connects to it so that the tensioner bolt can thread through it busted off. Of course now the belt slips when i start the car because its still loose and produces a squeeling sound for about 5 seconds, and the car clunks when first accelerating from a stopped position. any help would be awesome. its a 2000 subaru legacy AWD L wagon.

Lakers Bench Overrated?

Their bench looks fine. I know it's not the best bench in the NBA because the Lakers rely a lot on the starting 5 but it's pretty good.
