I have been diagnosed with a large dvt in left leg which was?

neglected by consultants at hospital. this began to break up and some have now caused pulmonary embolisms . am on warfarin and also had 5 doses of 15000units of fragmin. how long does the breathlessness and burning feeling in my leg last for and will i ever get active again?my thrombus is in arterial vein. i was first diagnosed in nov 2010 after demanding a doppler scan. the original cause we think was post op after major 8hr surgery last feb. any ideas gratefully received.thankyou
