Extending the Bush tax cuts. As a Nation are we insane?

The simple answer is that the government is so corrupt and broken that they don't even really care what is going on outside Washington, as long as they can line their pockets with money. Recently a doent was released that showed the Federal Reserve made $9 TRILLION in loans to Meryll Lynch, CitiGroup, and all the other firms that cuased this mess from March 2008 to May 2009 at less than 0.5% interest. At the same time we were going insane about a possible $700 billion "bailout" loan to some of these companies. Politics is just a mive group circle jerk, where each person strokes another person while getting stroked by another. As George Carlin would say, "its bullshit, and its all bad for ya".
