I think you might need to see a counselor and talk about your feelings, Ann. Abandonment issues are tough. We seek relief from relationships, but when they fail us or turn out to be less than perfect, they only get worse. You can recover, but my feeling is that you have deeper issues that go beyond just your past boyfriends, maybe a void deep down inside that someone left inside of you a long time ago. You'll be okay but you have to remember to open up and be honest to your counselor.
