I have a hamster,hes about 6 months old,the other night?

he escaped from his petco escapeproof cage,i put him in the laundry room because he was making a racket in his wheel,he usualy sleeps in my room,hes not used to sleeping in the laundry room,the next day i went to bring im back into my room and found out he had escaped by removing a part of the cage,the cage was on the dryer,so he fell off the dryer and went under the washing machine,our aide helped me get ollie back into his cage,this happened two days ago,since then hes been in his wheel and i hardly see him in the cage,hes stuffed the wheel with the bedding and his food,i know theyre nocturnal,maybe he comes out when im asleep like ayt about 4 in the morning,but i also know they have cartledge not bones so id like to know did the fall scare him into hiding? im afraid he got hurt,hes eating and i did manage to see him emerge from the wheel to stuff his cheeks with food then go back in.im hoping hes just frightened from this expirence,and not injured.the height of the dryer is about 3 and a half feet high.
